Created by state legislation in 2008, the Gentilly Development District serves as a catalyst for positive growth throughout our community. Our mission is to strategically invest annual resources in projects and initiatives that promote economic development, community beautification, public safety, crime prevention, and an enhanced quality of life across the Greater Gentilly area.

Gentilly is thriving—and our future is even brighter. As we continue to invest in our neighborhoods, we are also working to position Gentilly as an Artistic and Cultural Hub—a community where public art, music, culture, history, and creative expression contribute to economic growth and neighborhood vitality. Through murals, public art installations, cultural initiatives, beautification projects, and partnerships with local artists and organizations, we envision Gentilly becoming a destination that celebrates the creativity, history, and unique character of our community.

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Gentilly Development District. I wholeheartedly commit to investing the time, leadership, and resources necessary to bring about meaningful change, continued progress, and new opportunities for our residents and businesses.
